To use this plugin:
1. Upload the easy-access-post-upload.php file to your /wp-content/plugins directory

This plugin only opens the original file upload page in a popup window. You’ll still have to copy and paste the generated code into your post.

SAFARI USERS: Since quicktags are disabled in Safari, this plugin will not work in Safari.

This plugin allows you to add an image to a post without having to leave the edit post screen. If you choose to create a thumbnail it also creates a link to the large image as well, and if used together with Zap_ImgPop by Tom Koehler (a plugin that pops-up images with JavaScript/DOM when link is clicked) it gives you a two-click image manager that does what I wanted to see.

Say you’re trying a post and you want to add an image.
1. Click an upload button on the quicktag menu
2. New window pops up, prompting for a file to upload
3. Find picture and upload, optionally choosing a thumbnail
4. When completed, the photo will be shown, along with a link to paste it into the existing post.
5. Click the link, and the HTML will be automatically added to the cursor location.
